Common Questions
Any IT trading business, distributor, system integrator, or IT service provider operating in Punjab or Chandigarh is eligible. The proprietor, partner, or director must be an Indian citizen. New businesses and established firms are both welcome.
Most applications are reviewed and approved within 5–7 working days of receiving the completed application and documents. You will receive an email confirmation once approved, followed by your member ID and certificate.
You will need: (1) Business registration certificate / trade license, (2) GST registration certificate, (3) Proprietor/Director photo ID proof (Aadhar/PAN), and (4) Two passport-size photographs. Documents can be submitted online or at the PACT office.
Yes — PACT membership is separate from city-level association membership. In fact, we strongly encourage you to be a member of both. Your city association handles local activities while PACT represents you at the state and national level.
If your application is rejected, the fee will be refunded in full within 15 working days after deduction of a nominal processing charge of ₹200. We recommend submitting all required documents carefully to avoid rejection.
